  1. This is a fantastic piece on Content ID. Thanks to Ms. Schneider for shining a light on this situation. I love the “throwing a rope to a drowning person” analogy. The whole piece is full of very understandable points, and makes me want to change YouTube so I could pay specific artists what the music is really worth to me, and not just have it supported by ads I don’t want anyway.
